The Round of 16 fixtures of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON have now been confirmed.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will continue their quest for a fourth continental title when they face the Mambas of Mozambique in the Round of 16.
The Super Eagles finished top of Group C with maximum points, while Mozambique progressed as one of the four best third-placed teams, despite losing 2-1 to Cameroon in their final group match.
Eric Chelle’s side, having impressed in the group stage, will now look to consolidate on their strong performances as they push further in the competition.

Defending champions, Côte d’Ivoire saved their blushes by coming from two goals down to defeat already-eliminated Gabon 3-2, finishing top of Group F. The Elephants will now face 2013 finalists Burkina Faso for a place in the quarter-finals.
Elsewhere, hosts Morocco will take on Tanzania, while record winners Egypt battle Benin Republic. Five-time champions Cameroon lock horns with South Africa, as Tunisia face Mali, and Algeria square off against DR Congo to complete the Round of 16 fixtures.
