Ogun State: Resumption of Schools, Civil Servants return to Duty post.

Ogun State Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, says there is 100% resumption compliance of workers resuming their duty posts on the first working day in 2026.

The Commissioner for Education, Prof Kayode Arigbabu, has also called on teachers and education stakeholders in the state to rededicate themselves to advancing education development in the state.

Both senior government functionaries gave their remarks, emphasizing good service delivery expectations in the new year.

It was the dawn of a new era as commercial activities in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, came back to normal as workers and students returned to their various offices and schools in Ogun State.

The Ogun State Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, in an interview with Africa Independent Television (AIT), commended the first day of resumption of civil servants in the state.

On the education sector, the Commissioner for Education, Prof Abayomi Arigbabu, on his social media handle, enjoined teachers to be professional and students to be ready to learn new things on the first day of resumption of secondary and primary schools in the state.

Africa Independent Television (AIT) visited Moshood Abiola Model Nursery and Primary School, Adatan Abeokuta, and Egba Comprehensive High School, Asero Abeokuta, where students and teachers are active in resumption activities.
