The meeting which was at the instance of the Vice President is to find ways of addressing the numerous boundary disputes and crisis across Nigeria and how to enhance the work of the national boundary commission in resolving the boundary issues.

Osinbajo stated that interstate rancour will be greatly assisted with this interaction that offers the opportunity to jointly review the work of the commission so far.

The Deputy Governor of Edo state Phillip Shuaibu who spoke to newsmen after the meeting said the inability of the National Boundary Commission to properly demarcate various boundaries between state is contributing to the various agitations across the country.
