The National Association of University Students has commended the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for its interventions in the country’s education sector.
It however urged the federal government to intensify efforts to address the nation’s rising security challenges.
The call was made by the incoming president of the association, Tiamiyu Ibraheem during a press conference in Abuja.
He insisted that the call became necessary in view of the numerous challenges confronting the country and acknowledged government’s genuine efforts to tackle the problems.
The association also stressed the need for renewed commitment to policies that directly improve the welfare of ordinary Nigerians who are most affected by the economic hardship.
