General Shaibu stated this during the handover of a newly renovated community primary and secondary school in Rumuomasi, Rivers State.

He noted that the project is one of several initiatives executed across the state’s three senatorial districts to mark the 163rd anniversary of the Nigerian Army.
Community leaders and dignitaries gathered at the Community Primary and Secondary School in Rumuomasi, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, to witness the official handover of the facility.

During the ceremony, the Chief of Army Staff emphasized that there are several other projects across the three senatorial districts in celebration of the 163 years anniversary of the Nigerian army.

General Shaibu urged community leaders to take ownership of the facility and protect it from vandalism.
