The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has assured that its resources will be deployed for the development of the region.
The Managing Director of the Commission, Samuel Ogbuku stated this during the inauguration of the anti-corruption and transparency unit of the NDDC, at the Commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt.
The 12 members were inaugurated by the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Boma Iyaye who represented the Managing Director.
He assured the new team of the Commission’s support in driving the successful actualisation of its assaignment.

Ogbuku said the NDDC will continue on its mandate through effective utilization of resources for the benefits of the people of the Niger Delta region.
The Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Musa Aliyu, urged members of the unit to live above board.
The Resident Anti-corruption Commissioner for Rivers/Bayelsa States, Ekere Usiere, who stood in for Aliyu advised members of the NDDC in-house Anti-corruption and transparency team to be deligent and courageous in the discharge of the responsibilities.
The 12 members anti-corruption and transparency unit of the NDDC is chaired by Deinma Ebong.
