There is an increasing need for private security professionals across Nigeria to work closely with government agencies to strengthen the nation’s security ecosystem.
These were the views of licensed private security practitioners in the FCT Zone, in collaboration with key institutional partners, at a forum held in Abuja.
Security practitioners in Nigeria are unanimous that the private sector plays a central role in promoting professionalism, regulatory compliance, and industry-wide capacity development in addressing the security challenges confronting the nation.
Other speakers at the event said that taking advantage of high-level national platforms to drive innovation, enhance standards, and foster cross-sector collaboration across Nigeria’s evolving security landscape would help in the fight against insecurity.
The Abuja gathering has the theme: “Reimagining Private Security in Nigeria: From Manpower to Intelligence-Driven Protection.”
