Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa says his administration remains committed to ensuring that no community, irrespective of its geographical location, is denied the dividends of good governance.
The governor reaffirmed that equitable development remains at the heart of his administration’s agenda while commissioning and flagging off projects in riverine communities of Ilaje Local Government Area.
The governor commissioned a one-kilometre concrete walkway and a potable water supply scheme project designed to improve the living conditions of the people and address their longstanding infrastructural needs.
Governor Aiyedatiwa said the projects represent more than physical infrastructure, describing them as practical interventions aimed at improving the quality of life of residents in the riverine communities.
Residents expressed appreciation to the state government, saying the projects would improve mobility, enhance safety, and stimulate economic activities across the coastal communities.
As part of efforts to deepen infrastructure development in the area, Governor Aiyedatiwa also flagged off the construction of an additional three-kilometre concrete walkway.
