Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori says his administration is intensifying efforts to diversify the state’s economic base.
The governor made this known during the panel session of Tuesday’s economic summit where he noted that there is an urgent need to expand investment beyond the oil and gas sector.
He maintained that the summit is not a mere ” talk shop'” but a strategic platform backed by serious investors.
The day two of the summit also saw experts identifying agriculture, livestock, mining and the state’s blue economy as critical sectors for sustainable investments.
