The remains of former Chairman of the National Examinations Council, NECO, and public affairs analyst, Paddy Njoku, have been laid to rest in his hometown of Okwunakuwa, Uvuru, in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
At a requiem mass held at Saint Raphael’s Catholic Church, Okwunakuwa, Reverend Father Anthony Ike urged Christians to live righteous lives, describing such as the pathway to eternal life.
It was a solemn farewell as family members, friends, associates, and sympathisers gathered to pay their last respects to an accomplished administrator, philanthropist, and community leader, Paddy Njoku
At the requiem mass, Reverend Father Anthony Ike paid tribute to the deceased, describing him as a man who devoted his life to the service of God and humanity.
Family members, including his in-law and former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, as well as friends and associates, also paid glowing tributes to Paddy Njoku.
They described him as an honest, loving, and caring man whose contributions to the lives of others would remain indelible.

The funeral ceremony attracted dignitaries from across the state, including friends, associates, and political associates of former Governor Emeka Ihedioha, who joined the family to honour the memory of the late Paddy Njoku.
Following the requiem mass, his remains were conveyed to his country home in Okwunakuwa, Uvuru, where he was committed to Mother Earth.
