In what appears to be an anti-climax, voters in their numbers have reportedly turned out to vote across Osun State, South-West Nigeria in the off-cycle Governorship election.
In Kajola, Iregun, Ijesha, and seven other communities, voting commenced between 8:32am and 9:02am with the arrival of materials delivered at 7:20 am and 7: 46am.
Four police officers and one civil defence personnel were seen on ground at the various polling units visited in Ijesha LGA.
The BVAS machine however failed to capture the elderly at Iregun Methodist Primary School.
No election observer or EFCC officials were sighted at more than seven communities visited by AIT.live.
At polling unit 13 ward 5, Ajimoko Primary School, the school gate was shut stopping vehicles from gaining entrance into the premises where voting was ongoing.

Officers of the Nigerian Army and the police told AIT.live that initially vehicles were allowed into the premises but the authority shut the gate without given reasons for the action.
Ijesha LGA has over 172,000 voting strength and the killing of two persons has been recorded in the last 48 hours.
