Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has flagged off the All Progressives Congress presidential and National Assembly campaigns in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Represented by his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, Fintiri called on residents to support President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates.
Supporters of the All Progressives Congress gathered at the Government House gate in Yola for the start of the party’s presidential and National Assembly campaigns in Adamawa State.
Representing Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta said the campaign was an opportunity to highlight the Tinubu administration’s record and mobilise support ahead of the elections.
She pledged the governor’s support for President Tinubu and other APC candidates.
Farauta also announced plans for door-to-door campaigns across the state.
Adamawa State APC Chairman Bello Hamza Madagali thanked supporters for the turnout and called for sustained mobilisation across communities.
The North-East Zonal Coordinator of the Bring Back Door-to-Door Movement, Zakari Hashimu, expressed confidence in the party’s support in the region and pledged ten million votes for President Tinubu.
Speaking for the party’s National Assembly candidates, APC senatorial candidate for Adamawa Central, Mustapha Salihu, called for support for President Tinubu and the party’s candidates.
The campaign marks the beginning of the APC’s mobilisation in Adamawa State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
