The Delta state police commissioner, CP Yemi Oyeniyi has charged Nigerian youths to reject political thuggery and embrace education.
The police chief gave the charge while speaking during the grand finale of the international youth day 2026 Commemoration, held at the command’s headquarters in Asaba.
“Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.” was the theme discussed during the grand finale of activities marking the Nigeria police force international youth day 2026 commemoration.
In his address, the commissioner of police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi cautioned youths against being used for political thuggery during the electioneering period.
Other speakers engaged participants on youth development and responsible citizenship.
The event had in attendance government officials, representatives from other security agencies and youth groups.
