A Call For Nigerians to emulate the exemplary life style of the holy Prophet Muhammad came to the fore in Lagos Tuesday amongst Islamic Scholars in Commemoration of the Eld -el maulud celebration.
Unlike other Muslims festivals that records large turn out of faithful for Prayers and funfair, the 2026 eid- el maulud was low key and in sober reflection with the present realities in the country.
Eld el maulud is the occasion commemorating the Birthday of the holy Prophet Muhammad world over.
In Nigeria it’s usually declared a public holiday .
A drive around Lagos metropolis on Tuesday by AIT crew revealed a low key celebration in most places with a central message for all to Imbibe the good examples of the holy Prophet.
Some of the Islamic Scholars however used this occasion to pray for Unity and peace in Nigeria.
