Terrorism, banditry and increasingly complex armed threats are testing Nigeria’s security forces, and the Police are strengthening the tactical units expected to confront them.
With the Police Mobile Force, PMF now expanded to 84 squadrons nationwide, Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu says numbers alone are not enough.

Opening a training course for PMF trainers and instructors at Ende-Hills, in Nasarawa State, North-Central Nigeria, he says the priority is to ensure that every squadron is trained, equipped and ready before the next crisis.
