The need for Proper and adequate engagement with relevant authorities through early stage dialogue before administrative issues ecalates into full industrial crisis were among other issues raised at the South- West Zonal workshop organised for members of the Association of senior civil Sevants of Nigeria in Lagos.
The Two days event has as its theme “A Shift from Confrontation to Collaboration”
Speaking at this opening session, the National President of the Association of senior civil Sevants of Nigeria Shehu Mohammed noted that the workshop which cuts across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria is in line with the administration’s cardinal agenda on impactful capacity building of members of the Union at both the Federal and State levels with the aim of equipping members with modern administrative skills
According to him, true progress for the Nigerian worker is no longer achieved through friction but through data-driven advocacy, mutual respect, collective bargaining, and strategic alignment.
On the concession of unity schools, President of the ASCSN said the process must be conducted without negatively impacting the overall welfare of the members across the country
Other participants at the workshop, while commending the leadership of the Union, explained that the meeting will remain a ralling point in labour relations history

The South West, Zonal Director, Federal ministry of Labour and employment Mienye Badejo emphasized on the need for Government, Labour and Employers to work together as the challenges of work , productivity, welfare, and decent jobs cannot be solved by one party alone.
