The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has disowned a purported Presidential Campaign Council announced under the name “OK Movement.”

In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Cleopas Moses, the party said the announcement attributed to John Ugulu did not originate from the NDC and should be disregarded.

The party stressed that only its leadership, with approval from the National Working Committee, has the authority to constitute and announce a Presidential Campaign Council or any official party structure.

The NDC also cautioned support groups against operating as parallel structures or publicly attacking the party, urging members to channel grievances through internal mechanisms.

Meanwhile, the party says John Ugulu has been referred to its appropriate disciplinary organ over what it described as his conduct during the Lagos State primary and repeated disregard for party authority.
