Voting has gone ahead in the direct mode of primaries to elect a candidate for the All Progressives Congress in the Ekiti Governorship elections fixed for June the 18th.

In the mean time, two of the aspirants, Semator Opeyemi Bamidele and Dayo Adeyeye have kicked against the voting exercise.
