The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has fired back at the African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, over remarks directed at President Bola Tinubu.
Wike has warned that Amaechi could be barred from campaigning in Rivers State if he continues to incite the public against the president.
The Minister was reacting to comments attributed to Amaechi during a political engagement organised by the ADC in Edo State, where the former Rivers State governor reportedly said that only thieves and mad people would vote for President Tinubu.
Wike, who described Amaechi as a person not to be taken seriously, challenged him to account for billions of naira he could not account for during his tenure as governor of Rivers State
