The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, FUASK, has inaugurated ten tricycles to ease transportation for students and improve movement between the university and surrounding destinations.
The tricycles were provided through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund, as part of efforts to strengthen student support services.
Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Williams Barnabas Qurix, said the Federal Government, through TETFund, had committed to providing ten tricycles to selected institutions, with FUASK among the beneficiaries.
He said the vehicles would provide additional transport options for students travelling along the university’s service routes.
