Osun Politics : Suspected thugs attack Aregbesola’s APC faction headquarters in Osogbo

Some political thugs have attacked Oranmiyan house, owned by the former Governor of Osun state, and current Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.

The building, which is located along Gbongan road is the rallying point of Aregbesola’s faction of the All Progressive faction known as The Osun Progressives (TOP).

There is no love lost between The Osun Progressive (TOP) faction of the All Progressives Congress led by Aregbesola and that of the Osun state Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.

The attack occured around 5 o’clock in the evening of Thursday about two hours after the weekly meeting of the group had ended .

It was gathered that the police had responded promptly to the action of the hoodlums thereby saving the property from further destruction.

Osun State Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode while reacting to the development promised to apprehend the perpetrators of the attack , adding that the police will not condone any act of hooliganism and disruption of peace in the state
