As part of efforts to bridge the gap for more accessible and affordable healthcare provision for rural dwellers, the Bayelsa state government has flagged off its medical outreach for rural communities in the state
At the flag-off at Christ the King Catholic Hospital in Imiringi community, Ogbia Local Government Area, Governor Douye Diri directed the immediate posting of doctors and other medical personnel to the center whose operation has been taken over by the state government.
As part of activities, marking the second anniversary of Governor Douye Diri’s Administration, the medical outreach saw hundreds of locals being administered free treatments at the Christ the King Catholic Hospital Imiringi.

Governor Douye Diri reiterated his plans to build a viable health care system across the state.
Governor Diri while underscoring his two years achievements in the health sector,
encouraged the people to take full advantage of the programme.
Governor Diri’s administration will clock two years on the fourteenth of this month with several programmes outlined to Mark the anniversary celebration.
