Political leaders have been called upon to inculcate the principle of continuity in governance in order to discourage waste of resources and encourage the delivery of critical infrastructure and services to the people.
Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State made the call when he led his Bauchi state counterpart, Bala Mohammed to commission the Igbogene-Okarki section of the Igbogene-AIT Elebele Outer ring road initiated by his predecessor, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson.

The project commissioning is part activities to mark Governor Douye Diri second year in the saddle of Bayelsa State administration.
The construction of the project was borne out of the desire to extend the road network within Yenagoa, the state capital.
