The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo state has rejected the House of Assembly by-election results conducted in Ngor-Okpuala state constituency.
The party chairman, Charles Ugwu said in strong terms that the conduct of the poll was unprofessional and anti democratic, calling for its cancellation by INEC.
They are also accusing the rulling All Progressives Congress party of forcefully carting away electoral materials in over 50 out of the 193 Polling Units.

Meanwhile, in a swift reaction, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state MacDonald Ebere said the people of Ngorkpala voted overwhelming for APC, describing the PDP comments as wailing of a failed party.
Blyden Amajirionwu of APC had in the Early hours, Sunday 27th February 2922 declared winner of Ngor Okpuala state constituency, having scored 9,248 votes to beat his closest rival Emeka Nwachukwu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 7,161 votes
