The Technical Adviser of Bayelsa United FC of Yenagoa, South-South Nigeria, Diepriye Teibowei says, he is rebuilding his team after five key players left the Aiteo Cup Champions for greener pastures.

The Yenagoa side came to the match day four of the Nigeria National League, NNL with the hope of securing their first victory of the season following two previous disappointing results against Nnewi United and Warri Wolves.

On resumption of the second half, FC One Rocket stepped up their game until the closing moments, when dazzling striker, Fabby Clarke’s shot deflected to Emmanuel Ambakederemor and he scored to double the home team lead.
A Bayelsa-born attacker, Israel Consul in the colours of FC One Rocket got the consolatory goal for the visitors during additional time to rap up the game 2-1 in favour of Bayelsa United.
Following this first victory of the season against FC One Rocket, the United team’s confidence to build on this winning momentum will be tested on Wednesday when they face Apex Krane of Delta State at the Austin Jay Jay Okocha Stadium, Ogwashi-uku.
