A Yaba magistrate Court has ordered that the Bus Rapid Transit, BRT, driver Andrew Nice who conveyed late Oluwabamise Ayanwole on his bus prior to her disappearance be remanded for the next thirty days in a custodial facility.
The accused was arraigned before Magistrate O. A.Salawu on Friday following the application filed by the police counsel Yetunde Cardoso bordering on a four count charge which include, alleged murder, sexual assault, misconduct and interference of a corpse.
According to the police counsel, the allegations contravened sections 411,223,260,and 165′ of the criminal law of Lagos state.
Magistrate Salawu held that Andrew Nice be remanded for the maximum period of 30 days allowed in law pending the advise from the Lagos state Directorate of Public Prosecution over the matter.

The magistrate then adjourned till April 11th 2022 for the advice from the DPP.
Bamise 22, was found dead last Monday along Carter Bridge on Lagos Island about nine days after she boarded the BRT bus at Chevron in Lekki driven by the accused heading for Oshodi .
