A Vigilance group member has been killed by some youths in the Bosso Area of Bosso Local Government Council of Niger State.
The vigilance group, according to eyewitnesses, were carrying out orders from the Chairman, Bosso Local Government Area, prohibiting any form of business transaction in the place.
They started seizing food items displayed by the traders at the prohibited areas of the popular Bosso Market.
Youths and traders were resisting the evacuation order, which led to the stoning of the vigilante members, leaving one of them dead.
Bosso Local Government Council chairman, Abubakar Gonna last year, commissioned a new Bosso Market and implored the traders to move in immediately to continue with their commercial activities.
