Workers in Ekiti State have appealed to the State government to ensure the payment of their outstanding salaries and implementation of promotion arrears.
The call was made on Sunday at the celebration of workers day in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
The workers who promised to continue to work for the upliftment of the state also urged the state government to improve on subventions to institutions in the state.

They also asked Governments at all levels to honour existing agreements signed with the workers.
