The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu has submitted his nomination form to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, without indication of his running mate.
The step is in fulfillment of the Commission’s guidelines and time table.
A statement by Tunde Rahman of the Tinubu Media Office did not state the running mate of the APC standard bearer.
The Tinubu Media office said the running mate will be announced later.

It stated that the form was submitted on Wednesday, two days ahead of the deadline.
There are strong indications that the APC flagbearer may have submitted a surrogate running mate as part of efforts to fulfill INEC’s guideline.
The party is currently having serious consultations over Tinubu’s running mate.
