President Muhammadu Buhari has joined Muslims among other top government functionaries to perform the two-unit prayers of the Eid-el-Adha at the popular Kofar Arewa Eid ground in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, North-East Nigeria.
At exactly 10am, President Buhari arrived the prayer ground with the prayers led by Imam Safiyanu Yusuf who urged Muslims to serve God as Prophet Ibrahim did.

According to him, Allah will provide all they want just as he provided a ram from heaven to him at the altar instead of his son Ismael, to be sacrificed.
He further urged Muslims to continue praying for the peace and stability of the Nigeria.
After the prayers, the President accompanied the Iman to slaughter the ram.
