The whereabouts of six persons from Onyadama Community, allegedly beheaded during the recent communal crisis between Nko and Onyadama have become a source of worry to the community with a call to security agencies to come to their rescue.
Addressing journalists at NUJ Press Centre, in Calabar, the Clan Head of Onyadama, Vincent Erena said the Community will continue to speak out on the disputed lands and people killed until Justice is done.

The Monarch called for the immediate implementation of Judicial Commission of Inquiry report set up in 2009 by the Liyel Imoke’s administration which put the matter to rest as well the various judgements of Courts.
On his part, a former leader of Cross River House of Assembly, Moses Onor, said the escalation of conflict between the two warring communities has become injurious to the people of Onyadama.
Cross River State Government had during the communal clashes, announced the take over of the disputed land for overriding public interest, but the Onyadama Community said the position is unacceptable without recourse to previous court judgements.
