Suspected armed robbers on Tuesday invaded some commercial banks in Ankpa and successfully robbed two banks.
A source who confirmed to our reporter in Kogi State said the robbers arrived in several buses and motorcycles.

The source said after robbing banks for about an hour, they drove violently but steadily out of Ankpa with unending gunshots which left residents in fear.
The robbers according to the source fled through Okpo road.
The affected banks are just few metters away from the Ankpa Divisional Police Station.
Most Ankpa residents are still hiding as at the time of filing this r3port as they do not know if the attack has ended.
