Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari, has approved the appointment of Muntari Lawal as substantive Secretary to the State Government,(SSG) and Bature Masari as the new Chief of Staff to the Governor.

In a statement by the Director-General New Media to Katsina State Governor, Al-Amin Isa, both appointments are with immediate effect.
Lawal, the new SSG was appointed in acting capacity when the former occupant of the office Mustapha Inuwa resigned in April 2022 to contest for the office of the Governor which he lost at the primaries to the former Director-General, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, SMEDAN, Dr. Dikko Radda.
