The Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council has given reason for the non-inclusion of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on its list released on Saturday.
Director of Public Affairs of the Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo said President Buhari has directed that Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation be left out of the council.

Keyamo noted that as a responsible party and Government, all key functionaries cannot abandon their positions for electioneering campaign especially where President Buhari is leading the campaign trail.
The party also explained that the inclusion of the name of PDP Senator, Chimaroke Nnamani was an error as it intended to include an APC stalwart and former President of the Senate, Ken Nnamani.
He noted that the APC is not in “disarray like those who wish to rescue the country but cannot manage their internal affairs”.
