Sylva said that the incorporation of ASUU demand on the IPPIS platform can be carried out without President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval; stressing
that there was nothing complicated about the issue once ASUU agrees to the decision.

However the President of ASUU insisted that the offers are unacceptable to the union, just as the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, noted that the Federal Government would not offer ASUU what it did not have.

The Speaker of the House of Reps femi gbajabiamila in his remarks , appealed to ASUU to shift grounds so that the 7 month old strike can come to an end.

The speaker further agreed to meet with President Buhari on the matter.
