Lagos metropolis on Sunday witnessed heavy traffic in the early hours as the Musiliu Akinsanya-led group embarked on a road walk to rally support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu as well as the second term bid of the incumbent Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu.
Musiliu Akinsaya popularly known as MC Oluomo is the current Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garrages Agency and former Chairman of the proscribed National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW in the state. He was joined by other supporters as they embaked on over 10-kilometre road walk which started from the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere and stretched to Bolade in Oshodi where the group held a mini carnival.
The road walk which lasted several hours was peaceful as the support group controlled the crowd as they moved along. There was however gridlock stretching several kilometres as the APC supporters chanted solidarity songs.

At Bolade in Oshodi some Nigerian artistes and other dignitaries present took turns to address the mammoth crowd gathered for the event and with heavy security presence from the regular police personnel and soldiers to deter any possible disruption of public peace.
MC Oluomo and the various speakers while rallying support for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu ahead of the 2023 general elections urged the crowd to ensure that they get their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs ready to exercise their civic responsibilities.
