The Katsina state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has inaugurated its governorship campaign council with the immediate past Secretary to the State Government,SSG, Dr Mustapha Inuwa appointed as the Director-General of Atiku/Lado Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council.
The Governorship candidate of the party, Senator Yakubu Lado who presented both the Director-General of the council, Inuwa and chairman of the presidential/governorship campaign council, Senator Umar Tsauri informed Nigerians that PDP means serious business in rescuing the country.

According to Lado, PDP has put in place all the necessary strategies towards ensuring victory for the party in the 2023 general elections expressing confidence that with Inuwa as the DG campaign for the Atiku/Lado Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council, PDP will defeat APC in both contests.
He added that, part of the strategies, is the completion of all necessary arrangements to embark on its campaign, especially house to house, to seek for votes from the electorates, down to the grassroots.
Lado promised to embark on total overhauling of governance once elected Governor of the state especially, putting smiles on the faces of women and youths in the state.
In his acceptance speech, Chairman of Atiku/Lado campaign council, Senator Ibrahim Tsauri, assured PDP members that his committee will do everything necessary to see to the success of the party especially now that the leadership crisis in the party is over.
He called on Nigerians to vote for credible, respected and trusted leaders who will lead them with fear of God, rather than those with questionable characters.
Tsauri further assured Katsina people and Nigerians in general that PDP will not fail them, if elected into various positions, calling on women and youths to give all the necessary support towards the success of the party.
In his response, the Director-general of the Atiku/Lado campaign council, Mustapha Inuwa said, Nigerians are tired of the APC leadership hoping to see a true change when the PDP reclaim power in 2023.
Inuwa also appealed for unity of purpose among party faithfuls and supporters to get the job of winning the 2023 general elections done. He says Nigerians have seen the difference between the leadership of the APC and the PDP.
