The Federal Government has faulted claims by the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar that the APC-led government has not done anything for the country in the last 8 years.

Lai Mohammed said Atiku Abubakar can now move freely to his home state Adamawa as a result of improved security and Road networks initiated by the Federal Government.

Meanwhile, the Minister of water resources Suleiman Adamu says 32 million Nigerians now have access to pipe-borne water. He noted that this is a work in progress as an intervention from the federal government. He urged state Governments to intensify efforts so that more Nigerians can be captured.

Adamu also speaks on the controversy surrounding the water Bill which he says FG must take charge of transboundary waters.

He says Nigeria is not a water-scarce country but investment in water development has been very low
