A former Senate President of Nigeria, Ken Nnamani, has described the recent defection of Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC, as a wise decision.
Nnamani, who is also a chieftain of APC, said the South East geopolitical zone of the country is not cut out to be in opposition.

Though the defection of Governor Dave Umahi to the APC did not take many by storm, his movement however has continued to generate reactions from notable Nigerians.
Senator Nnamani , who spoke at the event to formally usher in Governor Umahi to the ruling party, in Abakaliki on Friday, said the decision taken by Umahi to key Ebonyi State into the mainstream party was what he expects from every other person who means well for the South East zone.
