The Abia State Police Command Public Relations Officer noted that no ammunition was carted away by the gunmen, explaining that, when the hoodlums could not gain access to the police station, they used explosive materials to set the station ablaze.
It would be recalled that three days ago, the Abia state government had raised the alarm over alleged plots by unnamed persons to attack some parts of the state and cause the breach of peace.
