The Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has assured that his administration will leave behind a standard master plan for the socio-economic development of the State.
The Governor stated this after receiving the ‘Good Governance Award’ from the University of Nigeria Alumni Association, at the Government House, Umuahia.
He said that the master plan for Aba and Ohafia, will stand the test of time.
The Abia State Governor who received the award with mixed-feelings following the poor security situation across the country, said that he decided to accept the award, based on the respect he has for the famous citadel of learning.

The National President of the Association, Ben Okoronkwo, represented by the National Secretary, Samuel Nwarieaku, explained that the award was in recognition of the intimidating score cards of Governor Ikpeazu, in various sectors of the State’s economy especially in the area of road infrastructure.
