The Abia State Government has reiterated its commitment towards giving the Ariaria International Market, Aba, a face-lift.
Speaking during a visit to the market, the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Cosmos Ndukwe said flooding will soon be a thing of the past in the area following the recent construction of the Faulks roads and other adjoining roads leading to the market by government.

Ndukwe also noted that road construction is part of the state government’s efforts towards remodelling the market.
Ariaria International market Aba, constructed about forty three years ago, is one of the largest markets in Nigeria and its notable for making of wears and leather works.
