With the news of the second confirmed case of Coronavirus by the Federal Government, Adamawa State Government has revved up its level of preparedness to handle any outbreak in the state.
The Isolation Centre located at the Specialist Hospital Yola has received an upgrade.

The Medical Director, Dauda Wadinga, said that the government has concluded plans to equip the centre with more monitors, beds, and other necessary facilities, to strengthen its level of preparedness.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who was inspecting the isolation centre said that he is satisfied with the state of the facility.
He stressed that his government will use the available resources within its disposal to protect the lives of the citizenry.
The creation of the isolation centre has put Adamawa to be among the foremost states in the northeast, in terms of level of preparedness.
