Adamawa State government says the state currently has no active COVID-19 case.
This revelation came during a grand ceremony organized to celebrate the successful treatment and discharge of all the COVID-19 patients in the state.
Since the state recorded its first COVID-19 case on April 22, 374 samples have so far been tested. Of these, 42 have turned out positive.
The Chairman of the State COVID-19 Containment Committee, Bashir Ahmad, said so far, the state has not recorded any COVID-19 infection in the past 16 days.

The containment committee, however, said there are still 19 suspected cases still pending.
The State’s Ministry of Health in conjunction with the World Health Organization, asked residents to keep practising all the safety measures, as the fight against Coronavirus is not over.
