To reduce traffic congestion on Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, the federal government has commenced the construction of additional flyover bridges including interchange at strategic points along the highway.
The first flyover is located at kilometre sixteen along Magboro axis, while the second is about 4 kilometres away with an interchange in Lotto, Mowe axis.

Coordinating Director, highways construction and rehabilitation, Nigeria, Funsho Adebiyi while inspecting some road projects in the southwest zone at the weekend says the Federal government is finalizing arrangements to duly compensate individuals whose properties will be demolished to pave way for the construction of the new interchange.
