The Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire will look to take control of Group K in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers when they host Madagascar at the Stade Ebimpe in Abidjan on the evening of Thursday 12 November 2020,
The West African heavyweights are currently third on the standings, with three points after a 1-0 home win over Niger and 2-1 away loss to Ethiopia in matches played in November last year.
The clash will be new coach Patrice Beaumelle’s first competitive fixture in charge, having been appointed earlier this year and overseen a draw with Belgium and loss to Japan in friendlies last month.
Initially, the third and fourth round of matches for the 2021 African Cup of Nations was slated for March before the coronavirus Pandemic forced the postponement.
