The Acting Comptroller-General of Nigeria Correctional Service, John Mrabure has charged the personnel to ensure that all custodial facilities across the country are protected from violation by hoodlums.
In a statement signed by the Service Public Relations Officer, Francis Enobore, the comptroller said the days when hoodlums attack correctional centres and effect the release of inmates with little or no resistance are now over.
It Will be recalled that the tenure of Ja’afaru Ahmed came to an end on 21 January, 2021 , after an additional extension of six months granted him by President Muhammadu Buhari.

John Mrabure, was appointed as Acting Comptroller General of Corrections, being the most senior officer in the Service until a substantive Comptroller General of Corrections is appointed.
