The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the newly created Zone 13, AIG Danmallam Mohammed, has called on officers and men of the Command to discharge their duties as stipulated in the Constitution.
AIG Mohammed, who made the call while briefing reporters after meeting with the police commissioners in charge of Enugu, Ebonyi, and Anambra States at the Command’s Headquarters, Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, warned his men against human rights abuse.
He insisted that the zone under his watch will not tolerate any human rights abuse, torture, extortion and extra judicial killings.
AIG Mohammed also wants the public to assist the police with relevant information for better service.

The newly inaugurated Zone 13 of the Nigeria Police is made up of Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi States.
