The Nigerian Air Force, NAF has reassured the people of Zamfara state of the support of men of the Nigerian Air Force in the fight against banditry as well as in other states facing security challenges.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar gave the assurance, during an operational visit to 207 Quick Response Group of the Nigerian Air Force in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
He urged residents of the state to support the Air Force and other security agencies in the area of intelligence gathering to make the job of security operatives in the front line of the fight against banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling and other crimes easy.
Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar added that the air facilities in Zamfara State are in good shape and capable of providing air support in fighting banditry.
He also paid a courtesy visit to the Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed.
