It is the sad end of a career pursued with uncommon passion by one of the reporters with Africa Independent Television, AIT, Muhammad Ibrahim who was covering Niger State in North-Central Nigeria.
The 52-year-old journalist lost his life on Thursday night in a fatal car crash along Maryam Babangida Science Girls School Road Bosso in Minna, the Niger State capital.

His remains were laid to rest at the Dutse Kura Gwari community in Minna according to Islamic rites after funeral prayers led by Mallam Abdulkadir Mohammed.
Family members, associates, friends and colleagues from the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ in Niger State describe the late Muhammad Ibrahim as a highly dedicated professional journalist.
The Late Muhammad Ibrahim is survived by a wife, five children and an aged mother.
